Kyrgyzstan Traveling is a tour operator based in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The company responsible for your data is Kyrgyzstan Traveling LLC, IK01955***, Ak Niet 89, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
What we collect and why
When you propose or join a group departure
- First name. Shown publicly on the departure, so other travelers can see who is going.
- Email address. Used to confirm your sign-up and to contact you about the trip. Never shown publicly.
- Number of travelers, and if you give them, phone or WhatsApp number, country and a note. Used by our managers to organise the trip. Never shown publicly.
- A one-way hash of your IP address. Used only to stop spam. We cannot turn it back into your IP address.
We use this data to organise the trip you asked about, based on your consent and on the steps needed before a contract with you.
When you send the contact form
Your name, email, optional phone number, trip details and message are sent to our team by email so we can reply. The website does not keep a copy.
Cookies and local storage
- kt_verified (30 days): set after you confirm your email, so you don’t have to confirm again for a while in the same browser. It contains no readable personal data.
- kt-theme (stored in your browser, not sent to us): remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme.
- WordPress login cookies are used only by our staff when they sign in.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and the site loads no third-party scripts.
Who can see your data
- Our managers and guides, to organise your trip.
- Our hosting provider (Hostinger), which stores the website and its database, and our email provider, which delivers our emails.
We do not sell your data or share it for marketing.
How long we keep it
- Sign-ups you never confirm are deleted automatically after 24 hours.
- Confirmed sign-ups are kept until the trip has taken place and for [retention period, e.g. 2 years] afterwards, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
Your rights
You can leave a departure at any time with the link at the bottom of any email we send about it. You can also ask us to send you a copy of your data, correct it or delete it by writing to info@kyrgyzstantraveling.com. We reply within 30 days.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
